FOUST ARCHITECTURE
SPACE MADE SACRED
We design spaces for encounter.
Foust Architecture is a San Francisco–based firm with over 25 years of experience in liturgical and sacred space, commercial and residential work, where the same commitment to craft, relationship, and meaningful design shapes every space we design.
Led by principal Brian Foust, AIA — a member of the Association of Liturgical Consultants and a graduate researcher in Christianity and the Visual Arts at the University of Aberdeen — the firm brings rare depth to the intersection of architectural practice and liturgical tradition. We believe that a well-designed church is not merely functional. It is a theological statement. Every decision — the orientation of the nave, the quality of light at the altar, the weight of stone against wood — participates in the community's understanding of what it gathers to do. We bring that conviction to every project.
If you are planning a renovation, a new build, or a restoration, we would welcome the conversation.
